The Packs are back !
January 20 2005
Hello Fisf Fans, Just when it seemed that catchin a Sailfish was a sure thing on a daily basis a stalling cold front shut it down. The overcast skies and passin rain showers lingered for 5 days, usually a cold front passes through within 24 hours and doesn’t effect the Sailfishin that much but this one reely turned them off. The good news is the sun is shinin, the winds are layin down alittle, and the packs are back. The Sailfishin is excellent once again and I’m reely glad, I’ve had two disappointing days this month and that’s too many, I expect to catch Sailfish on every trip and the competitor in me doesn’t allow 90 percent to be acceptable. The inshore fishin for Spanish and Cero Mackerel is still excellent for those of you lookin for non-stop action and calmer waters, most of these fish are 5 to 10 pounds and provide lots of fun for the whole family. The Grouper and Mutton Snapper fishin on the reefs and wrecks will be excellent on the days when the seas are calm, the conditions haven’t been calm enough but we’ll see what the rest of the month has to offer. The Reel Busy has a few open dates the end of the month so if your ready to catch some fish give us a call and let’s do it 305-304-9049. I’ll be back in about 10 days with another fishin report from Islamorada, Sportfishin Capital of the World. Catch You Later, Captain Wayne, Reel Busy Charters
