6-7-05 Well, what can I say. I know I haven't written for over a month, but time just seems to get away from me these days. I've literally fished everyday, except for five days that I was out with a bad infection. The fishing has been great!! This past month the tarpon fishing has been pretty good. We've had several days with multiple fish being hooked up, and most fish over 100lbs. The offshore fishing has been decent, but it should really pick up in June and July. It seems like everything has been about three weeks late. The permit are even still spawning, and it's June! We caught our largest permit ever this past month. A freakishly huge 48.6 pounder. I almost had to have help to lift it in the boat! The bayfishing is switching from lots of Cobia to the big mammoth goliath groupers moving in. Well, that's about it for now, Until Next Week....Capt.
