Beautiful February weather, Mid seventies and about an 8 mile wind from the south
Fished the southern , western end of Mosquito bank and some adjacent patch reefs.( or maybe all the patch reefs are part of mosquito?) Caught 2 Spanish mackerel one larger Cero Mackerel, couple snapper and a hoard of grunts on fluorescent headed jigs tipped with shrimp and cut ballyhoo.
Also caught a undersized Red grouper and a mutton snapper.
Once the patch reef slowed down , we headed out to French's reef but a on coming storm made us head east onto the main reef. We continued to catch fish, several keeper porgies and a mangrove snapper and too many grunts and undersized snapper to count.
