I fished the same spot on the reef that I fished yesterday for kingfish. Today I had the "A" team from NJ,(Brian, Rose, Jerry, & Donna). We had tough luck to start with! We had boats on both sides of us that were catching fish non stop, and we were not getting bites. When we did hook up, the fish managed to get away. We decided to pull the anchor and drift, and then go look for dolphin. A couple minutes into our drift the other boats left. We decided to give it one more try. We anchored up, and the first bait in got slammed. The bite was non stop from then on. We caught a box full of kingfish, and 2 blacktip sharks around 80lb each. We are going tarpon fishing Thursday.
