I fished a local friend this evening. He had a buddy and his son in town from NC. They wanted to catch a tarpon, so I went and caught live mullet. We had only been fishing 10 min when the first tarpon hit. We missed him, but a couple min later another one hit. We hooked him and the fight was on. A few seconds after the hook up another one hit. We had a double header on. It was hot! Both tarpon were jumping like crazy. We got one to the boat, and lost the other one 20 Ft from the boat after a 20 min fight. On the next drift we hooked up again. This time it was a nice snook. We landed it, and he was 31 1-2" long. We made another drift and hooked another snook, but lost it at the boat. Lots of action for a 2 1-2 hour trip. Tarpon fishing is hot! To book a trip, call (305) 797-3116.
Thank you,
Captain Stan Miles
