Hello Fish Fans, Springtime fishin has begun. The weather is beautiful, calm seas and sunny skies, you gotta love it! The weedlines are just starting to come together and although theres not alot of Dolphin yet,the ones were catchin are all nice fish, 10 to 25 pounds. The mid-day fishin for Dolphin is slow right now because of the full moon, the fish eat all night and seem to take a break while the sun is directly overhead. The Marlin fishin is at its best the week surrounding the full moon, there was 2 Blue Marlin and 1 White Marlin caught yesterday. The full moon in May,June and July will produce alot of Blue Marlin for those who are willing to take their chances, although you might catch a trophy Dolphin,Tuna or Wahoo when your draggin the big baits, its either hero or zero. The Tuna fishin on the Islamorada Humps has been on and off, when theres no current they dont come up and feed. The Tarpon fishin is still on the slow side, another week of this weather warming the waters and the passing of the full moon, the Tarpon fishin will get red hot over the next 2 weeks. The reef fishin for Yellowtail Snapper has been good and will continue to get better and better as the waters warm. The fishin off Islamorada in May and June is great both inshore and offshore. We have a few open dates in early May and few more scattered about in June, lets go fishin on the Reel Busy or the Sea Island Lady{31 Tiara}. Ill be back in 7 to 10 days with another fishing report from Islamorada, Sportfishing Capital of the World. Catch You Later, Captain Wayne, Reel Busy Charters
