Hello Fishfans, On Friday the 13th Hurricane Charley passed us by, We Got Lucky, our prayers go out to those less fortunate on the west coast of Florida who found themselves in the path of Hurricane Charley. Over the last 10 days the Dolphin fishin has been excellent, not to many big ones but all you can catch in the 4 to 6 pound range. The current edges are full of debris, sargasso weed and coconuts, lots of bait, birds and best of all, lots of Dolphin. The Tuna fishin for Blackfin Tuna on the Islamorada Humps is also red hot, most of these fish weigh between 5 and 10 pounds with a few going 15 to 20 pounds. The late bite is still the best but theres plenty of action early in the morning. The Sailfish are starting to show up on the color changes off Islamorada, chances are if you start your day or end your day on these color changes youll get a shot at a Sailfish, youll never forget the show these fish put on when theyre hooked-up, its reely awesome. The Reef fishin has also been excellent with big Black Grouper,Mutton Snapper and Yellowtail providing lots of action early and late in the day. The fishin off Islamorada is as good as it gets right now if you like to mix it up, the summer fish are here and the fall fish are movin in, Sailfish, Dolphin, Wahoo, Blackfin Tuna, Grouper, Snapper and Kingfish are all here just waitin to pull your string.Give us a call and lets catch fish 305-304-9049. Ill be back in about 10 days with another fishin report from Islamorada, Sportfishin Capital of the World. Catch You Later, Captain Wayne, Reel Busy Charters
