Hello Fish Fans, Sure feels good to be fishin, the storms are gone and the fish are happy, and thats a wonderfull thing ! The Sailfish are startin to show up along the reefs edge, the water temperture is droping and the bait balls are coming, its gonna be reel good reel soon. Theres still plenty of Dolphin offshore and should be for another month or so. The Blackfin Tuna fishin is excellent, most fish weighing 8 to 15 pounds with 20 and 30 pounders mixed in, unfortunately allot of the big ones dont make it to the boat with their body still attached to their head, Sharks reely like Tuna. The late afternoon bite at the Islamorada Humps has been excellent, on a half day trip Saturday afternoon my anglers caught 13 Blackfin Tuna, 8 Dolphin,1 Wahoo and another dozen Bonitas and small Tunas. The Kingfish are on the reefs edge, theres not allot of big ones yet but a few in the 15 to 20 pound class have been caught. The Snook fishin in the creeks at night is excellent, Snook and Tarpon are crashing the bait balls as they pass through the creeks, you here them commin closer and closer and then WAM, your hooked-up and fightin to keep that big ol Snook from breakin you off in the mangroves. This is a great time to visit Islamorada, Sportfishin Capital of the World, the motel rates are as low as they go and the fishin is excellent both inshore and offshore. Give us a call and lets go Fishin 305-304-9049, Ill be back in about 10 days with another fishin report from Islamorada, Catch You Later, Captain Wayne, Reel Busy Charters
